We invite manufacturers with export oriented marketing concepts to approach us initiatively and send us their export catalogues.After checking the particular potential for an offered product palette and clarification of the terms for a long-term cooperation we would send specific enquiries once suitable tenders will be identified.
 

Need for Quality Assurance through Quality Management System
For potentially interested manufacturers we wish to emphasize that different from the 1990' years and before Nigerian importers have become very much more quality minded than in the past: in correspondence to this new quality awareness resulted time ago into a need for Quality Assurance which has become today the decisive aspect for our decision making.

Our Quality Policy allows us to include only such manufacturers into the circle of backing manufacturers who provide acceptable evidence for an existing operational Quality Management System like ISO 9001:2015. For manufacturers who are not yet certified as per ISO 9001:2015 our request is to attach corresponding information about their existing Quality Management to the initial approach together with the information about the offered product palette.

Physical goods inspections before shipment To keep our customers satisfied with the goods and services we provide to them - simultaneously to keep our operations free from time-steeling quality claims - we usually request a physical goods inspection before shipments are effected from their origin place directly to the end-customer: manufacturers whose interest is a clean long-term business will accept this and be ready to call on SGS | WHEN YOU NEED TO BE SURE.

We acknowledge that our strict Quality Policy might appear as a too high barrier to supply us. At least for some sources. And we can live with this question: for us and our customers the SGS slogan is the core point of our Quality Policy = we need to be sure of the export consignment's quality & completeness as we guarantee both to our customers equally as we guarantee to manufacturers for the complete payment of contracted prices!
